Mini album - Papericious My Golden Garden

Hello.

Happy diwali to all. :)

I am back with a very beautiful mini album made from My Golden Garden of Papericious. It is so so beautiful. This mini album was a mini just for a name. In real, it's a big one. It is different from my usual albums as i have widely used brads for interactive pages.

Cover page of this album is in a mixed media style as i dint try it for long. Its inspired by Hussena Calcuttawala s card.

So here it is:

Fussy cuts, die cuts, textures, colouring, charms, laces, embellishments and stamping-almost everything i have used in this. Some closeups:

I couldn't stop clicking pictures of front. ;)

A glimpse of inside:

Lastly, Do watch this video for the flow and folds of album.

Thanks for watching this space. :)

Hugs,
Chirali.

I loved loved loved it.

I am still not that confident about colouring images so for me, this pack is a bliss. This pack has some 3D dolls too. I have used on of them in this card.

A box mini album with photo tutorial

Hi.

Today i have something interesting to share with you all and yes, I have a photo tutorial too this time. So this is a picture heavy post. I hope you enjoy it.

This is how it looks from outside. Paper stack is Hello Beautiful Collection from Heidi Swapp. This album was going to travel abroad so i decided to go for flat decorations and for that, fussy cut flowers from same collection.

So here is tutorial:

Cut three stripes of 4*12 and 3 stripes of 4*12.75. Score 4*12 stripes at 4", 4.5", 8.5" and 9". Score 4*12.75 stripes at 3.875", 4.375", 8.375", 8.875". (7/8 equalls to 0.875)

It will look like this.

Now take each 4*12 stripe and keep a die like this and cut it.

It will result in this.

Now stick 4*4 portion of both stripes together which will result like this. We kept two squares of 4*3.875 so that box will close easily. Do this with other two too.

Close it like this.

And our boxes are ready. :)

Now to bind these three, u need a stripe of 4.125*13.25". Score this at 4.125", 6.125", 10.25", 12.25". If u want to add more embellishments inside then take a large stripe and score accordingly. I don't have a photo of it so sorry for that.

Punch 3 boxes on equal distance then keep each box in cover punch it. U can see the same in photo.

Size of patterned paper is 0.125" lesser by box size.

Bind boxes with ribbon or thread, anything you like. It will look like this.

So this is how your unembellished mini album will look like. First i decided to go for velcro but at last used pins to close album.

Some more photos of complete album:

I am sharing a clip here to show inside of an album.

I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching this space.

Hugs,
Chirali. :)

Box paper frame

Hello.

Again it's been long long time I blogged. It was such a busy September at office. But now back to passion.

So here i want to share a small project i did and it's my most awaited thing, box frame. I badly wanted a frame for my first mixed media layout. It was lying idle without any support and i wanted an option of wood for frame and finally found it. Thanks to pinterest.

Here it is:

I love paper rossettes and I thought they will go best with this frame. Closeup of rosstte:

A complete frame with that layout.

Soon I am going to alter this frame thing into totally different thing. That will take time as it's gonna be huge project. Till then stay tuned for some more beautiful projects.

Thanks for visiting,
Chirali. :)

An interactive mini album

Hi.

I am super excited to share this project with you. It's again a mini album but totally different than i made before. Its totally an interactive one and a bit confusing for non-crafters. ;)

This whole album i made from a single paper stack and it was indeed beautiful. I loved making this one because it has so many folds that i too forgot thrice while shooting. ;)

So here is the cover pic:

It is much more than you can see in the photos and one must check video this time to see how it goes because it almost impossible to show everything through photos.

This album has 46 photos on it and many more can be yet added.

Here is the video:

Thanks for stopping by.
